Originally organized by Gintare Sabaliauskaite. Everyone talks about what they're building with AI. Almost no one shows it. Vention Unplugged returns with a format built to cut through that: real builders, live demos, no slides pretending to be products. Just senior engineering leaders showing what they've actually shipped with AI, and a room ready to ask the hard questions. This evening is for CTOs and engineering leaders who'd rather see working code than a roadmap slide. Expect real demos, sharp Q&A, a bit of humor, and zero sales pitches. The evening will be hosted by Paul Lunow, CTO at Vention. 🎬 Live Demos Each speaker gets 5 minutes to show something real they've built - an internal tool, a product feature, a workflow that actually changed how their team works - followed by 10 minutes of Q&A where the room gets to dig in: ⚛️ Christoph Neumaier, AI Product Architect at Proxima Fusion – spun out of the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, now Europe's best-funded fusion startup and scaling fast on an AI-first stack, where simulation does the heavy lifting long before hardware gets built. 🩺 Simon Puxbaumer, CIO of gematik – majority-owned by Germany's Federal Ministry of Health and the agency behind the country's digital health infrastructure, from the E-Rezept to the ePA for 70+ million insured people. Proof that AI has arrived in the public sector, too. ☁️ Ben Trollope, Customer Engineer in the Google Cloud team – helping startups build on Google's data and AI services, with the long game and the resources nobody else has behind him. 🎤 Stand-Up Comedy Because a night of live demos deserves a proper pressure valve: comedian Ludwig Benecke is back on stage for another round of stand-up. Expect his take on the tech world, life in Berlin, and everything in between. 🗓️ Agenda 6:30 PM - Welcome Reception & Networking 7:00 PM - Opening & Format Intro 7:15 PM - Live Demos + Q&A 8:00 PM - Stand-Up 8:20 PM - Networking Drinks & Snacks ✨ What to expect Real demos (not roadmaps) Honest Q&A (not applause) A curated group of peers Great conversations, and the occasional "wait, how did you build that?"
