Originally organized by Techies. AI can fix your code. It cannot fix a bad architecture decision. There is no actual roasting. Just curious questions, technical debate and cheeky energy. The goal: make better architecture decisions by learning from other builders. How It Works Each presenter gets 30 minutes. 15 min: For presenters walk us through: What they are building Their architecture and architecture.md or ADRs Their constraints Why they chose their stack The tradeoffs they made What they are currently stuck on 15 min: Q&A section where the audience digs into the architecture: Why this solution over the alternatives? What tradeoffs did you make? What breaks first? Where are the bottlenecks? What would you do differently? Presenters Lineup Speaker 1: Naimish Kandula Naimish upgraded Open Wispr to use Apple's new Core AI Stack for local inference on his MacBook getting him accurate and fast diction, but without subscriptions and completely local processing, with the added benefit of using the Apple neural engine for significantly better battery life. Speaker 2: Willy Wong Willy tackles the same use case, but with a completely different tech stack through a two-stage AI classification process and surfaces incidents through an interactive feed and map. Speaker 3: Marcus Lim Marcus transformed PostgreSQL beyond the database, turning it into a lean infrastructure stack that handles both the task queue and event bus.
