Resources recycling plays a vital role in protecting our environment and shaping a net-zero future. Across the region, East Asia shares close connections and common challenges in resources utilization, waste management, and environmental protection. It was this shared vision that led to the establishment of the International Symposium on East Asian Resources Recycling Technology (EARTH) in 1991 through strong regional collaboration. Over the years, the biennial EARTH symposium has grown into a dynamic and influential platform, bringing together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and inspire new directions in resources recycling and sustainable technologies. Thailand has been part of this journey since its first participation in 2013, marking an important step in expanding collaboration beyond East Asia. This engagement led to Thailand hosting the 13th EARTH in Pattaya in 2015. This year, Thailand is honored to host the symposium once again.
