Originally organized by jo+kapi ✦︎, Jo Ho, Kapilan Naidu. field:work opens with an evening at the Arts x Tech Lab, the first of many gatherings across the next five months. Come meet jo+kapi and hear where the programme is heading, and get a feel for what a practitioner-led takeover of the Lab might look like. Expect live AV sets, drinks, and the kind of conversations that (hopefully!) can turn into collaborations later on. If you are interested media art, creative tech, sound, visuals, code, installations, or if you are simply curious, this one's for you. field:work is a five-month artist-run takeover of the Arts x Tech Lab, culminating in a showcase and closing performance during Singapore Art Week 2027. It's built around four things: gathering, collaborating, archiving, sharing... a space for a media art community to grow over time. Come hang, bring a friend.
