Originally organized by Benedict Yu. Join us for the opening reception of MORE THAN SEEN, marking Japanese artist Akio Takimoto’s first presentation in Singapore. With a background spanning music and design, Takimoto brings a distinct sensitivity to rhythm, structure and perception. Through experimental printing, shifting acrylic structures and interactive scratch surfaces, his works invite viewers to move, touch and uncover what lies beyond the immediately visible. MORE THAN SEEN explores the threshold between analogue and digital, surface and depth, concealment and revelation—asking not only what we see, but how we see.
