Join us for Side Quests and XP Farming, an evening of creative experiments, unexpected projects, and conversations about how designers grow in an age of AI. We’ll kick things off with a series of Side Quest lightning talks and demos, where local designers and creators share the things they’ve been building outside of their everyday work — from creative coding experiments and games to passion projects and prototypes. Then, we’ll explore the future of entry-level opportunities in design. As AI changes how design work gets done, what happens to the hands-on work, feedback, and apprenticeship that traditionally help designers build experience? And what new ways might emerge for the next generation to learn, practise, and gain XP? Whether you're a student, career switcher, designer, builder, or simply curious about where the industry is heading, come meet the community, discover what others are building, and join the conversation.
