The evening opens with a talk by Irene Solaiman, Chief Policy Officer and SVP of Strategy at Hugging Face. She’ll share her perspective on the opportunities, risks, and choices ahead as the world prepares for the AI Summit in Geneva next year. After Irene’s talk, event attendees have the opportunity to join one of six roundtables together with the cohort of Geneva Loading… a program by Swissnex in San Francisco that brings together a group of Swiss AI experts from research, policy, business, and civil society to prepare for the Geneva AI Summit 2027. Pick your table The following roundtables can be selected: AI governance and sovereignty AI safety and frontier risk AI, democracy, and media AI in high-stakes settings AI oversight and human judgment AI for science and innovation Roundtable participation offers a unique chance to shape the Geneva AI Summit 2027 since the cohort of Geneva Loading… will take inputs from the roundtable discussions and use them to prepare for the AI Summit. What is Geneva Loading…? Geneva Loading… is a program that brings together a group of Swiss AI experts from research, policy, business, and civil society to prepare for the summit. This November, the cohort is spending a week (Nov 16-20) in the Bay Area meeting the people who build, fund, regulate, and challenge AI. They want to hear what Silicon Valley gets right, what should change, and what the world should be talking about in Geneva. The Geneva Loading... program consists of several events and publications.
